Development of new predictive models to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of care processes

NEPREM-CARE Project funded by CDTI
About the project The project aims to develop two predictive models: the first focused on the prediction of hospital readmissions after patient discharge; the second focused on the prediction of scheduled surgery cancellations. The models will be developed using artificial intelligence techniques and advanced analysis of clinical and demographic data. Partners The NEPREM-CARE project is an international and interdisciplinary initiative formed by two partners:
  • At DOOLE HEALTH we are responsible for leadership and coordination, as well as the technological development of the predictive models.
  • TIPS is our international partner, an Argentine company specialising in digital solutions for clinical and hospital management. TIPS was created as an initiative of the Hospital Privado Universitario de Córdoba, a leading hospital in healthcare provision, teaching and research. TIPS will provide access to the clinical and operational data required for the development of the predictive algorithms.
Conclusion In summary, this CDTI-funded project seeks to address two of the most pressing needs in today’s healthcare organisations, due to their direct impact on the reduction of care costs and optimisation of resources.

This project has been funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and by CDTI
